If you've have never been scuba diving your in for a treat!
PADI Open Water Course
This is the course you need before moving on to further training. Armed with your PADI Open Water Diver card, this certification is recognised at dive centres worldwide and you will learn to dive safely to a depth of 18m with a buddy (12m for 10 & 11 year olds). Throughout the course you'll learn the theory of scuba diving, gain knowledge of dive equipment and practice diving skills. The course is made up of 5 theory sessions, 5 dive skill sessions in confined water and 4 open water dives in Moalboal from shore or the boat. You will be asked to complete water skills including a 10-minute float and a 200m swim. Most popular dive course in the world! A four day stay is required,Equipment is included in all our Course,PADI Open Water Diver Course incl. all equipment, dives and PADI fees.

As they wait the divers, the fishermen drop their nets. A few men slip into the water and begin beating the surface, grunting or hooting. Each has developed his individual fish scaring technique. There they work as they have for decades. Moalboal Scuba Divers slowly emerge from the depth of sleep. This large commercial orchid grower that must ship most of his plants to Cebu City. I have been told that he ships overseas as well. It?s interesting to see how they grow these plants without any soil. They put coconut husks in the pots or just hang these orchids in the air and let the roots dangle down underneath a canopy of shade screen. A myna bird and another bird with a tuft of feathers above its beak stay in a cage near the entrance.
